ZimPocket is an independent information hub developed by CainBen Labs. The app aggregates publicly available data from trusted authorities: Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, ZERA, ZINARA, ZETDC, Ministry of Health, and official emergency services.
Why ZimPocket? Essential phone numbers, tariffs, and official rates are often scattered across different platforms. ZimPocket centralises them into a clean, mobile‑optimised experience. We collect minimal anonymous usage data for analytics, and serve ads to keep the app free — but we never share your personal information with third parties.

Welcome to ZimPocket (the “App”), developed by Tatenda Mutyambizi (CainBen Labs). CainBen Labs is the brand name used by the developer. Your privacy is important. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.
a) Anonymous usage data (Analytics): To improve the app experience, ZimPocket uses first-party, privacy‑friendly analytics. We may collect anonymous information such as which screens are visited, feature usage frequency, crash reports, and device type (model, OS version). This data is aggregated and anonymised. It cannot be used to identify you personally.
b) Advertising data: ZimPocket may display advertisements to support ongoing development. Ad networks (such as Google AdMob) may collect device advertising identifiers and general location (country level) to serve relevant ads. However, we do not share any personal information (name, email, contacts) with advertisers. You can reset your advertising ID in device settings.
c) No personal data collection: We do not require accounts, nor do we request names, emails, phone numbers, or precise location. No sensitive personal data is ever collected.
• Anonymous analytics help us understand how the app is used, fix bugs, and prioritise new features.
• Advertising allows us to keep ZimPocket free for all users.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade any user data. No personal data is ever shared with third parties.
ZimPocket may integrate Google AdMob or similar ad providers. These third-party services have their own privacy policies and may collect device identifiers and IP addresses for ad personalisation. You can opt out of interest‑based ads by adjusting your device settings (Limit Ad Tracking on iOS / Opt out of Ads Personalisation on Android). We do not share additional information with them.
Optional features (e.g., saving favourite contacts, insurance/licence reminders) store data exclusively on your device using local storage. This data never leaves your device. Permissions like camera or file access will only be used with explicit user consent and processed locally.
The App is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Analytics data is retained for a limited period (up to 14 months) and used only for product improvement. Ad identifiers are handled by third-party networks according to their policies. We take reasonable measures to protect data transmitted between your device and our analytics services (HTTPS).
ZimPocket is developed and maintained by Tatenda Mutyambizi. “CainBen Labs” is the brand name used for this project; it is not a registered company. Any references to CainBen Labs indicate the same individual developer.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available in the app. Continued use of ZimPocket after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ZimPocket (the “App”), created by Tatenda Mutyambizi (CainBen Labs). CainBen Labs is the brand name under which the developer operates. By downloading, accessing, or using ZimPocket, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
ZimPocket is provided for your personal, non‑commercial use. You may use the App to access reference data, calculators, and directories. You agree not to misuse the App or help anyone else to do so.
The ZimPocket name, logo, interface design, and original code are owned by Tatenda Mutyambizi (CainBen Labs). Public domain data (exchange rates, laws, tariffs) remains the property of their respective government agencies. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute substantial portions of the App without permission.
By using the App, you acknowledge that we may collect anonymous usage data (as described in the Privacy Policy) to improve performance. The App may display third‑party ads. Ad networks may use device advertising identifiers. You can limit ad personalisation through your device settings.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tatenda Mutyambizi / CainBen Labs shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App, including but not limited to financial loss, missed payments, or reliance on displayed data.
The App may include links to external government websites or service providers. Those websites have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code; (b) use the App for any unlawful purpose; (c) interfere with the App’s functionality; (d) scrape or redistribute substantial portions of the content without permission.
We may update these Terms or the App at any time. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the new Terms. We may discontinue features or the entire App with reasonable notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Zimbabwe.
